La Feria de las Flores 2012!
Today was the main event, El Desfile de los Silleteros. Silleteros are the people that carry the flowers on their backs and walk all day displaying the beautiful art to the city. Most of the people that make the flower pieces are from the town of Santa Elena. We got another great spot on the street but this time we could not pass the gates but we still got amazing pictures! The parade was amazing. I was amazed at all the beautiful artwork but at the same time I felt so bad for the people carrying the pieces. They looked so exhausted, I just wanted to help them. The crowd knew how tired they were by the time they reached us so all we could do was encourage them. We congratulated all of them and applauded them for their amazing work and dedication.

Those are some beautiful flowers!! The people that make them are very creative....i saw the pic of that big healthy dog...i know ur missing ur dog lol. and u look very happy lol
